We need your help to suggest congregation members who would best fulfill the roles of Council Vice-Chair, Gift Enablement Team Member, and Property & Grounds Team Member.

Please return by July 26, 2026.

Vice-Chair
The Vice Council Chair serves alongside the Council Chair, overseeing administrative aspects of the church, establishing policies, and advancing the mission of the church. Responsibilities include serving on the Church Council, the Gift Enablement Team, communicating regularly with the congregation, and communicating with pastors and staff. 4-year term – Assume the role of Council Chair for years 3 & 4.

Gift Enablement Team Member
The Gift Enablement Team (GET) member discerns the giftedness of congregation members considered for ministry positions. GET receives nominations from Council or Ministry Team, processes them, contacts discerned individuals regarding potential roles, and presents them to the congregation for affirmation. 3-year term.

Property & Grounds Team Member
Property & Grounds Ministries manages the physical maintenance of the church and tenant properties (inside and outside) as well as the cemetery. This team is responsible for maintaining equipment and systems, scheduling preventive services and required inspections, and recommending needed purchases. They are a valuable resource to any building / renovation committee. 3-year term.
