We also collect information about your communication preferences and any messages you send to us in response to our SMS communications.

To send you marketing and promotional communications with your Consent. To send you SMS messages with your Consent. We use your mobile phone number to send you text messages about worship services, event announcements, prayer requests, spiritual updates, and important church news. You may opt-out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any text message.

To protect our Sites for Business Purposes. We may use your information as part of our efforts to keep our Sites safe and secure (for example, for fraud monitoring and prevention).

For other Business Purposes. We may use your information for other Business Purposes, such as data analysis, identifying usage trends, determining the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns and to evaluate and improve our Sites, products, services, marketing and your experience.

Will your information be shared with anyone?

In Short: We only share information with your consent, to comply with laws, to protect your rights, or to fulfill business obligations. SMS consent is not shared with third parties.

Your decision to receive SMS messages from us is used only by Stumptown Mennonite Church for the purposes stated in this policy. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or any other purposes.

Business Transfers. We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.

SMS Program Details

Opt-Out Instructions. You can stop receiving SMS messages from us at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us. Once you send STOP, we will remove your phone number from our SMS list and you will not receive further messages, except we may send a final confirmation message.

Help and Support. If you have questions about our SMS program, you can reply HELP to any text message, and we will provide you with additional information about our messaging program.

Message and Data Rates. Standard message and data rates may apply to SMS messages you receive from us. Please check with your mobile service provider for details about your plan.
